Synopsis

The monograph is devoted to the development of heat treatment technology for low-alloyed TRIP-assisted steels with the aim of improving the set of mechanical and service properties. The experimental data presented in the monograph clearly demonstrate the advantages of using innovative heat treatment methods over standard ones. Special attention is paid to the relationship between the steel's microstructure and the level of its mechanical and service properties. The monograph may be of interest to researchers and engineers specializing in the field of materials science and metal heat treatment.
